Valley Springs Middle School strives to be a top academic school year after year. In correlation with that mentality we expect nothing less from our student-athletes and in this case our football players because with out this school we could not have Valley Springs athletics. Our athletes will be professional on and off the field. This means keeping up with classwork, homework and projects as well as giving their best effort in every class. Our goal is to not only mold your child as a football player but also into better people. We want to mold these athletes into people who will become great members of our society whenever their athletic career may end.

On the field I expect every kid to give everything they have to give. I stand strongly by the moto that Dabo Swinney has incorporated into the Clemson University football program which is the phrase “All In”. I expect kids to give it their all whether they are a starter in a game or if they are just receiving a few reps in practice. My depth chart is always open to change and if and when someone proves themselves they will get rewarded for that. If your athlete finds himself in a starting position be sure he continues to push and strive to get better while giving his all because if the person behind him is giving more of an effort he could lose his spot.

With all of this being said it can be summarized in one sentence. These Valley Springs Football Players are expected to be “All In” in the classroom and on the field. This will put us ahead just by our sheer drive and desire to win.

"Continue to do common things in an uncommon way. Continue to be 'ALL IN.' Continue to apply 'BEST IS THE STANDARD.' Continue to be a person of excellence in everything you do."

Dabo Swinney
